Objectives

Build foundational functional capabilities (serve multiple delivery objectives)

Create database of Palestinian & allies of Palestine in US & global tech sector leadership positions
Develop list of high in-demand IT certifications, technical & soft skills, and technology & market trends driving innovation and job creation in the US tech sector
Survey for targeted IT firms? 10, 20, 30? multinational firms to learn about their concerns and needs to open RD centers in Palestine?

Encourage global and multinational companies' investment to establish remote offices and R&D centers in Palestine

Outline target companies and establish relationships with tech sector executive leaders & influencers
Develop outreach & execution strategies to encourage companies to invest in Palestine, based on market research and collected data (under Obj #1)

Co-create with executive leaders, donors, influencers an execution framework (organization, financial, legal/policy lobby for endorsement) pilot/facilitate investment in Palestine

Partner with US-based and Palestinian owned Tech companies to increase offshoring & outsourcing of local Palestinian talent

Target US-based Palestinian owned IT firms to increase outsourcing capacity and hire an additional 50 local Palestinian engineers by end of 2021
Synthesize learnings to define expansion strategy to encourage additional IT firms and US-based tech companies to offshore & outsource talent in Palestine; in-parallel supporting our first objective

Establish a governing infrastructure for PalTechUS to facilitate and compliment the Palestinian Ecosystem

Register PalTechUS Palestine
Develop proposals to support implementing objectives 1-5
Develop PalTechUS outreach collateral, videos, blogs, etc.
Create PalTechUS LinkedIn, Twitter, FB etc. & drive social amplification
Outline fundraising objectives, criteria/process, and governance model
Establish financial infrastructure (bank account, accounting system, financial statement, and budget for the the coming 6 months)
Raise funding to cover operational and programmatic costs and hire staff to assist with activity execution etc)

Facilitate the up-skilling and re-skilling of IT & soft skills, mentorship, and internships for Palestinian students, graduates & entrepreneurs

Create list of Palestinian focused organizations providing skills training, mentoring, and entrepreneurship services to explore potential joint efforts and partnerships
Define framework and process to gather, share, and connect the diaspora of volunteers/mentors willing to assist with the up/re-skilling in Palestine
